OUR HOLDS
Rocks, rock fissures, crevices or huge overhangs face each climber with individual athletic as well as enduring and mental challenges. But where can you find all the climbers when it is snowing or raining? Of course, in a climbing gym to train. Yellow, red, orange and black cellars line the walls inside the climbing rooms, some of which can be up to 20 meters high. A colorful array of climbing sections is attached to them. Most of them are made of epoxy or polyurethane (PU) resin. Proholds is a young start-up that was founded by rock and nature lovers in late 2020 and remains one of the first companies in the world to produce and market ultra-realistic climbing holds without being stone. The company offers a variety of attractive polyurethane resin colors and currently 2 different texture types, including granite and sandstone, because a real rock feel can only be provided by real climbing rock.

"Rock feeling". is the motto of proholds. The founders agree that they will no longer be the only ones and that they want anything other than conventional escalation to be pushed out of the market. "It is more of a complementary factor in the specific training of each climber than of eliminating proven training methods." The young founders are more interested in a training opportunity that is closer to rock climbing itself.
